AIR AND WATER QUALITY

Though the Federal government has extensive programs overseeing both water and air quality within the United States, these laws allow the states to establish standards and compliance programs that are specific to their jurisdictions, as long as the programs are at least as stringent as the Federal standards.

TSG's State Affairs Division works with state governments to ensure appropriate standards are set by individual states for products and chemicals.   Some states, such as New York and California, have sub-state jurisdictions that further refine these air and water quality laws.   TSG works with all levels.

California's air quality regulations are the most comprehensive (and challenging) in the world.   Due to California's reputation, many states automatically adopt California's latest standards as their own.   As a result, working with California to establish fair standards has benefits beyond California's boarders.

TSG has experience and expertise in the wide array of environmental quality acts, ranging from consumer products, electronics, metal, pesticides, industrial chemicals, to natural compounds.   These comprehensive, often long-term projects are an essential tool to maintaining marketing positions within the United States.  

Where individual companies do not step in, often competitors do, resulting in compliance standards that are often tailored for those that are involved in government rule making.   Being involved in these processes of air and water quality is essential to long-term marketing of beneficial products.
