TSG’s Will Pettit Presented at the TSCA Fundamentals Workshop at the 2011 GlobalChem Conference

Will Pettit presented “How to File an ePMN + Common Errors & Trends“ at the 2011 GlobalChem Conference on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Baltimore Hilton.

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA) hosted its 2011 GlobalChem Conference & Exhibition on March 21-23, 2011 at the Baltimore Hilton. On Monday, March 21st, there was a TSCA Fundamentals Workshop, which included a presentation by TSG’s Will Pettit on “How to File an ePMN +Common Errors & Trends” in key Ballroom 6 from 10:00 am to 11:30am.

In this session, the process of filling out and submitting a premanufacture notice (PMN) individually and jointly was explained and demonstrated. Examples of common errors and trends associated with this process were also provided. In an effort to streamline the Section 5 notification process, electronic reporting requirements have been established with the requirements being phased-in over a two year period. This session will involve a demonstration of the Electronic PMN software to assist affected stakeholders on the implementation of this new EPA tool.
