The Science and Regulatory Spring Conference is an opportunity for professionals involved in the development and regulation of crop protection products to hear the latest insight on the key policies shaping the industry. Organized by CropLife America and RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment), this year’s event brought together leading experts and decision makers in the crop protection industry, government agencies and regulatory bodies. Attendees of the 2011 CropLife America and RISE Spring Conference had the opportunity to:

Dr. Gary Burin presented “The Future of Nanotechnology” on Friday, April 8th in Salon C of the Conference Center. His presentation covered issues such as the impact of nanotechnology on food and agricultural sectors, new regulatory and scientific issues arising from nanomaterial use in pesticide products, and industry and public concerns regarding nanotechnology.
