TOXIC SUBSTANCES AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
The Federal government is the primary developer of regulations overseeing toxic substances (TSCA) and worker safety (OSHA). However, several states have compliance programs for toxic substances that “supplement” the federal standards.
The state programs are primarily located in industrial and populated states such as Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, and California. The TSG State Affairs Division and Chemicals Divisions have extensive experience in these state programs.
