TOXIC SUBSTANCES (TSCA)
TSG staff has built up many years of compliance expertise related to the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA). We regularly submit new chemical notifications, NOCs, Section 8(e) submissions and makes Polymer Exemption eligibility determinations. TSG conducts compliance audits, offers SOP compliance systems and training, Section 8 reporting and recordkeeping and IUR assistance.
TSG will prepare, follow-up, and communicate with EPA for:
- Premanufacture Notices (PMN) , Low Volume Exemption (LVE), Low Release Low Exposure (LoRex) Exemption ,Test Marketing Exemption (TME), Significant New Use Notices (SNUN), Notices of Commencement (NOC)
- Assist in the resolution of Section 5 (e) consent order, Significant New Use Rule (SNUR); conduct risk assessments
- Determine Polymer Exemption Eligibility
- Review studies for possible Section 8(e) substantial risk reviews submission
- Resolve Inventory nomenclature issues
- Review and assist with Inventory Update Rule (IUR) reports
- Resolve import and export issues
- Conduct compliance system, product, due diligence audits – Sections 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13.
- Provide SOP compliance system development assistance
- Provide personnel compliance training
