STATE REGISTRATION RENEWAL SERVICE
2008 COST ESTIMATE
Technology Sciences Group Inc. (TSG) provides full product registration and support services. Once a product is federally registered and then registered within the states, the product registrations must be maintained at the state level in order to continue to offer the product for sale year after year. This estimate summarizes the tasks and associated costs for TSG state registration renewal services.
TSG monitors, prepares and submits the documentation required to renew and maintain your product registrations throughout the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
TSG Annual Renewal Service Estimate. The following cost estimate is based on the coordination and submission of renewal documents for 1-3 products registered in all 50 states and the District of Columbia . Additional products will increase the minimum cost of TSG renewal services. Contact TSG for an expanded cost estimate if you have more than 3 products registered in the states.

$2,500 - $3,000 |
Indirect Costs. In addition to the TSG renewal services identified above, the estimated indirect expenses, such as copy services and shipping charges, which will be incurred during the processing of your state renewals for 1-3 products is $500 - $1,500.
State Fees. Each state charges fees for the renewal of products, though not all states renew the registrations annually. The fees for all 50 states and the District of Columbia currently total about $10,000 annually, though a few states have multiple year registrations and renewal fees for those states are not due every year.
State Update. If TSG has not managed the initial state registrations, then there may be a one-time initial State Update fee in order to contact state regulators to change the primary contact and to identify the renewal cycles for your product. This fee typically is $300.
Renewal Account. TSG will invoice for the typical TSG Renewal Service, the minimum Indirect Costs, and anticipated State Fees prior to the submission of the renewal documents to the state. Since renewal documents are primarily due in June and December, TSG invoices for these fees twice a year (February 1 and Sept 1) with the bulk of the State Fees appearing on the Sept. 1 invoice. These monies are then kept in your “Renewal” account for payment of the service fees, indirect costs, and state renewal fees. Renewals will not be processed until the payment for the service is received.
The above cost estimate is for renewal of registered products, and does not include new product registration or label amendment submissions to the states, though these services are also available through TSG's State Affairs Division.
Let TSG assist you in the maintenance of your product registrations. Our State Affairs Division has extensive knowledge regarding product registration, renewal and support. If you have any questions, please contact Oleta Melnicoe at (530)757-1243 or Artie Lawyer at (530)757-1298.
