RESIDUE CHEMISTRY
TSG's staff includes both former government regulators and industry scientists. As a result, we have broad experience and a varied perspective in developing residue chemistry data that not only meet specific guidelines but also directly address the regulatory concerns on which guidelines are based. As defined by US EPA, required residue chemistry data includes far more than information on the magnitude of residues in crop commodities. TSG can assist in fulfilling all relevant residue chemistry data requirements.
TSG offers expertise in development and interpretation of the following types of residue chemistry data:
- Determination of the nature of the residue studies in crops and, if applicable, in livestock.
- Development and validation of analytical methods to determine residue levels in crop and, if necessary, livestock commodities.
- Development of enforcement analytical methods, including validation using incurred radio-labeled residues, independent laboratory validation, and multi-residue method tryouts.
- Stability of field-incurred residues during storage prior to analysis.
- As applicable, determination of residues in water, fish, and irrigated crops.
- Determination of residues in confined and field rotated crops.
- Determination of residues resulting from use of pesticides in food-handling establishments.
- Determination of residues in processed commodities.
If necessary, TSG can respond to Agency concerns regarding the conduct and outcome of all studies required to define and support information on the nature and concentration of residues in crop and livestock commodities.
Our staff, in aggregate, brings many years of experience in design, conduct, reporting, and interpretation of guideline and non-guideline studies in support of agrochemical pesticide registration. TSG can help your company efficiently and effectively develop data required to support registration of your agrochemical pesticide products.
