PRODUCT DEFENSE AND COMPLIANCE

Clients need to defend their products in EPA, Canadian or EU review proceedings. TSG can put together a team of experts to defend products against adverse actions proposed by regulatory agencies. It can also advise clients on how to bring their products into compliance with new requirements imposed by regulatory agencies either through review of old products or regulations affecting all products. TSG can provide the following types of services in this area:

  • Communicate with government officials to keep in touch with the direction in which they are moving in their reevaluation of compounds
  • Review and comment on draft documents presented for public review, such as draft ERD chapters in the U.S.
  • Develop public support for compounds by user groups, trade associations, etc.
  • In the case of adverse actions, work with the client and his legal team to defend the product in available appeals venues.
  • Help the client bring his product composition and labeling in compliance with any new restrictions imposed by the regulatory agency
  • Monitor and comment on proposed regulations or policies that would affect a client's product

TSG has successfully defended many chemicals in the U.S. registration process and some in Canada and the EU. TSG also has reviewed and commented on proposed actions and regulations on behalf of individual companies, task forces or trade associations. TSG experts have experience and contacts in the government regulatory agencies.
