TSG's Director of Asia-Pacific Affairs, Dr. Hong Chen, is giving a presentation on "China – New regulations for biocontrol in China and the impact for the biocontrol industry" at the 10th Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) October 19-21, 2015.  Dr. Chen has over 30 years of experience in agriculture and medical fields.  Dr. Chen specializes in providing management and support for various consulting projects in Asia, with a particular emphasis in China. Her significant experience with both Chinese and U.S. regulatory systems allows her to provide seamless assistance between western companies conducting business in China and Chinese companies doing business in the United States. In particular, Dr. Chen assists western companies in registering products with China’s regulatory agencies, including dossier preparation, document translation and negotiation with regulatory agencies, overseeing local Chinese registration agents on behalf of the client, and evaluating suitable outsourcing manufacturers by performing manufacturing audits and obtaining sample product for testing. She also helps Chinese companies register products with U.S. regulatory agencies and establish GLP or GMP programs.

The 10th Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) will be held at the Congress Center Basel, Switzerland. The meeting is organized in cooperation by the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association IBMA and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL. ABIM provides an annual meeting place specifically adapted to the needs of the biocontrol industry. Plant protection with natural and biological systems allows for the sustainable production of healthy foods while refraining from the use of chemical pesticides.

Also both Amy Roberts (TSG) and Alison Hamer (TSGE) will be attending.
