OEHHA Reconsiders Proposition 65 Listing of Chloroform (August 2016)

The Office of Environmental Health and Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is submitting a hazard identification document supporting a reevaluation of listing chloroform under Proposition 65 as known to the state to cause reproductive toxicity. It is opening a public comment period of 45 days (ending September 26th) to allow interested parties to express their opinions. OEHHA encourages the public to submit comments and supporting documentation in writing or electronically. Comments submitted in paper form may be mailed, faxed, or delivered in person.
