NEW SUBSTANCE NOTIFICATIONS IN CANADA
TSG has extensive experience with the notification of new chemicals and polymers in Canada under the CEPA regulation. TSG can determine which notification schedules are needed and whether new polymers meet the CEPA Reduced Regulatory Requirements (RRR), which require minimal notification data. TSG services include:
- Evaluate DSL and NDSL status of new chemical substance.
- Determine which notification schedule is required for the new chemical or new polymer.
- Prepare and submit new substance notification (NSN.)
- Act as Canadian agent for non-Canadian notifiers.
- Act as technical contact for non-Canadian notifers.
- Fulfill CEPA legal requirement for non-Canadian notifiers of maintaining NSN documentation in Canada through our office in Ottawa, Ontario.
- Prepare and submit Notices of Manufacture/Import (NOMI) or Notice of Excess Quantity (NOEQ).
TSG has acquired extensive experience with NSN submissions under the 2005 revision of CEPA. TSG can act as the Canadian agent for non-Canadian notifiers through TSG’s Ottawa, Ontario office and maintain files in Canada as required by CEPA.
