Chemical Data Reporting September Deadline Approaching (August 2016)The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is collecting data under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule from companies who manufacture or import chemical substances listed on the TSCA inventory in quantities above 25,000 pounds per year at a single site. Companies required to comply must report annual production (manufacturing and importing) information, as well as worker exposure, processing and use information. The agency collects CDR data every four years to maintain an accurate census of chemicals in commerce in the United States.
The deadline for Chemical Data Reporting is September 30, 2016. Reporting violations of chemicals subject to CDR under TSCA can be substantial.
TSG’s TSCA expert Will Pettit routinely guides clients through CDR’s requirements, including assisting companies in gathering required data and preparing submissions. For more information on how TSG can help you, please visit our website or call our office at 1-530-757-1245.
