FERTILIZERS
The United States government does not directly regulate the sale and use of fertilizers and related products such as soil amendments and minerals, HOWEVER, the state governments do. Each and every one of the 50 States has their own set of compliance programs, standards, fees, and other mandates involving fertilizers and similar products.
TSG is uniquely able to help companies make it through the maze of different State compliance programs. Since the Federal government is not involved, these state programs and their standards have evolved quite independently, so compliance with all typically requires compliance with the most “comprehensive” state program for your products. Though many products, such as traditional fertilizers have similar programs within all states, other products, such as minerals and soil amendments are approached with a wide array of oversight by the various state governments.
