TSG Attending the 2014 Safer Consumer Products Summit
(May 6–8, 2014)

TSG’s Dr. Greg Gorder is attending the fourth annual Safer Consumer Products Summit. The three-day event will be held from May 6-8, 2014 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

The conference starts with a Safer Alternatives to Priority Chemicals Pre-Summit Workshop on May 6, 2014. The pre-summit workshop focuses on alternatives to priority chemicals and various strategies to create safer consumer products. The pre-summit workshop is broken down into three sessions:

▲ Session 1: Alternatives Assessment: Bio-Based & Sustainable Chemicals

▲ Session 2: Phthalates, Alternative Plasticizers, Endocrine Disruptors

▲ Session 3: Sustainable Home & Personal Care Products

Day 1 of the Safer Consumer Products Summit addresses compliance with California’s Safer Consumer Products regulations, updates on other state, federal and international consumer products regulations, and Green Chemistry’s role in the advancement of safer consumer products.

Day 2 focuses on panel discussions with leading brand owners, chemical majors and retailers about their actions towards safer consumer products. Opportunities to network with peers, colleagues and industry leaders have been scheduled between presentations and discussions.
